Original artwork for Captain America #148 (Marvel, 1972), page 19 by the seasoned talents of Sal Buscema (pencils) and John Romita Sr. (inks). For the exciting story "The Big Sleep," by Gary Friedrich, this climatic scene features Captain America going toe-to-toe against his most infamous arch-foe, the Red Skull and the fifth Sleeper. This dramatic page likewise includes Cap's trusty partner the Falcon and his pet Redwing as they attack the giant Sleeper robot. Page is highlighted with two superb panels of Cap facing off directly against the Red Skull, which you rarely find in the original comic book art market.
