Description

Original artwork for The Joker #9 (DC, 1975) by Irv Novick (pencils) and Tex Blaisdell (inks) for the story "The Cat and the Clown," written by Elliot S. Maggin. Nice action page as the Joker fights his way through a trio of adversaries in his plan for a showdown with Catwoman. In this struggle, the Joker slays to armed guards with poisoned darts from his blowgun. The two victims laugh their way to heaven as the Hellish Harlequin makes his getaway. Quality Joker pages are highly sough-after and seldom seen offered on the open market.
