Description

Original artwork for Batman Vol. 2 #10 (DC, 2012) by fan favorite Greg Capullo (pencils) and Jonathan Glapion (inks). From the modern classic "Court of Owls" storyline, this tale was entitled "Assault on the Court, brilliantly written by seasoned scribe Scott Snyder. In this the penultimate issue, Batman finally discovers the hidden lair of the Court of Owls, only to find everyone deceased in an apparent mass suicide. Brought to you by the super-star creative team of Snyder, Capullo and Glapion, this presentation of the Dark Knight Detective was very grim, gritty and moody with that wonderful original darkly mysterioso atmospheric approach, just like when Bob Kane created the Batman way, way back in May of 1939. With regard to the art itself, the level of detail and precision in Glapion's inks is nothing short of masterful. Included are both Capullo's pencils on one board, as the creative process had Glapion inking blue-line pencils on a separate board.�
