mesure des albums. Pirlouit deviendra lui aussi progressivement le v�ritable personnage principal de cette s�rie. Ce duo form� par Johan et Pirlouit s�impose � nous comme l�un des plus aboutis et marquants du 9�me Art.

This is an exceptional large format strip where Peewit, having just met Johan, enthusiastically plans his future profession as a court jester. We are introduced for the first time to his talents in singing and apparent taste for music. This strip marks one of the major watersheds in the history of this series, with humour taking on such an important role thanks to Peewit, before going on to take an ever increasing role in future albums. Peewit would also become a fully-fledged character in the series. The duo
formed by Johan and Peewit would turn out to be one of the most successful and recognised in the history of comic art.
