I was happy to acquire this piece because it was originally done for Boston Comic Con's t-shirt illustration in 2014. I was a bit put out when I asked Nick how much he was selling it for at the time and he told me it was already sold. If you look closely at Rocket's belt buckle is the Red Sox logo which had to be edited out on the final product.

Very cool as the first movie had just hit that year andthis little wisecracker rocketed to stardom! It was also a year removed from a Red Sox World Series victory for a little more corssover appeal.

I'm a huge fan of Nick's art. I think he's one of the best at drawing Rocket Raccoon. Such a neat tshirt design I'd wear it! Great score!!!
