DescriptionI asked Kelley Jones for a cover quality commission of Batman vs. Man-Bat. As a kid I loved the Man-Bat character. He's half man half bat, what's not to love? Kelley (I call him Kelley) sent me a note with the art stating: "It looks like a cover because I went back and found some old thumbnails for it when I was doing Bats monthly" He also said that it was the cover he always wanted to do. I love it when an artist is inspired while doing his craft. It's as if he was doing this for himself as well. Kelley is about as classy and cool as they come. Thank you Kelley.Social/Sharing |

AWE-SOME!!!!!!! Kelley is a true genius, ad I truly love this and am happy for you. This piece takes me back to Kelley's work on Dark Joker Wild from many moons ago. Man Bat is perfect and really makes the pece. So many nice Kelley touches here, in particular, the cape which looks alive!!

Kelley Jones has always been one of my favorite artists. I'd buy books I had little or no interest in just to look at his crazy (wonderful!) drawing. Congrats on this!

Very cool! First Batman comic I ever read featured Kelley Jones art so I've been a fan for a long time. Congrats!
