DescriptionThis is a page from not "just" a comic but “THE” comic of my childhood. This book went everywhere I went. I have very vivid memories of reading this in the back seat of my parent’s Station Wagon on many camping trips. This is before child seats so I guess it’s a miracle I survived. The word balloons must have come off at some point because a previous owner did a horrible job gluing them back on. Not only did he miss align them but two were glued to the wrong panels. I had art restorer Robert Dennis correct this issue. You can see the before and after pictures I added. Thanks Robert and thanks to Malvin for the assist on this piece.Social/Sharing |

I knew you loved the page but didn't realize how much it really meant to you. Congrats on getting this, always nice to get a piece of our childhood back.

Groovy WBN by Don Perlin. So cool you could get an original from a childhood memory.

Werewolf By Night was my favorite comic as a kid, too... great page! It's true that every time a comic art collector acquires a long sought grail, you hear a bell, and an angel gets his wings.

WbN has a special place in my childhood comic collection as well, and I think the werewolf v werewolf action in this issue makes it one of the more memorable of the Perlin run. And bonus, while I think a lot of Perlin's embellishers on this series were hit and miss, Royer's inks fit the subject matter and the art well. Cheers!
