DescriptionOne of my favorite covers of all time, including both Matt Murdock and Venom. The way Scott portrays Matt Murdock being taken over by Venom, is imagery and movement at it's finest. The detail of the symbiote wrapping around Murdock's face, the inside of Venom's mouth, the slime and the attention the eyes of both characters bring to this piece is superb. This is the way Venom's eyes should always look. Many thanks to Scott for entrusting me with this gem, he is one of the nicest guys in the business and a true gentleman. I am truly honored to have this piece in my collection.Pat Garrahy who painted this piece did an incredible job using all the right colors succesfully bringing to life this dramatic piece and making it pop. I truly believe Pat's skillfull coloring compliments Scott's envisionment for this piece perfectly. As the words written in the lower right hand corner read "Many years of success yet to come!!!", Pat knew even early in Scott's career that he would play a significant role in comic history and was already a great artist. Inks and colored pencil face by Scott McDaniel. Original paint on the art by Pat Garrahy. Note: Pat Garrahy inscription and autograph in lower right corner of artwork.
