DescriptionI'm really excited to have this Daredevil vol. 2, 94 (Feb. 2007) Cover. This was penciled and inked by the legend, John Romita, in that same romance-comics style from the 50-60's he did. The story is titled: Our Love Story but on the Cover it says "Blind Love!". This is one of the few covers he did for Daredevil and I'm pretty sure only 2 since the 1960's. I always really enjoyed his art and wished he worked on more DD issues back then. Some may not remember that he did DD back then because it is probably overshadowed by the Miller, Romita Jr. (etc.) run but the stories and his art were excellent. The DD Vol 2 was great and this issue was written by Ed Brubaker.Romitaman's Description: "John Romita was asked to draw the cover in the same manner as his classic ROMANCE COVERS so it would have that romance theme with the girl getting her heart broken. and John Romita didn't disappoint. Daredevil walks out to do more crime fighting as a teary eyes Milla Donovan cries as DD leaves! Interestingly....Milla Donovan (Daredevil's Wife) looks almost IDENTICAL To Mary Jane Watson on this GREAT cover!" A Classic Artist drawing a modern cover in the Classic Style! Romita Sr's draws characters and expressions like no other, and it's on full display here. And just like the covers of yesteryear, the cover actually matches the inside story! A Great Pickup - How can you ever go wrong with John Romita Sr, especially on DD?!!

Gorgeous cover! I was thinking she resembled MJ, too! Glad I'm not alone, even Mike B saw it...

I really love this cover. I almost pulled the trigger on it many time. The image is well laid out and the technique is wonderful. I just couldn't come to terms with DD's left shoulder and left arm. I will always hold this cover as one of those pieces of art that will make me smile and haunt me. Congrats.

Wow! What a fabulous DD cover! Reminds me a little of Romita's Romance comics--Only for a superhero book! Very cool and beautifully drawn!
