DescriptionI think this piece has been waiting for me. I purchased this directly from Scott McDaniel. These are my two favorite characters so this was a must for me. I think both characters look great here, but especially Batman. I like the batarangs but what really intrigued me more than anything is the way he drew the cape. Whoa, the inking on this beast is crazy! You have to get this framed, it is begging to be framed!

A tremendous acquisition, D! It's not too often that DD gets to wear the smile and seem like the less serious of the two heroes during a team-up, but when you're matched up with THE Mr. Grim and Gritty, then you can't help but seem joyful by comparison. Scott's style literally evolved right before our eye during his tenure on DD, and this stunning pin-up was a great way to serve as a capstone for the end of his involvement with the character. Kudos on a sublime piece of art, sir.

Spectacular Work by McDaniel, and rarely have two characters from the Big Two gone together as seamlessly as DD and Batman. McDaniel really did a great job on Batman. Great Pickup!
