DescriptionAnother great cover from the " Age Of Ultron " series. As soon as I saw this image I knew exactly what I wanted it to depict and who I would ask to do the honors. Joseph Mackie was my first and best choice. He did not disappoint. He captured the moment where the Silver Age Star Boy sees the ramifications of a split-second choice in the moment and its future consequences. He did a great job of the "Star Corps " hovering over a dark and pivotal moment in Legion history.Russ Payne took the image and finished it off beautifully. Enjoy Aidan Social/Sharing |

Man, this looks great. It's even better than the Age of Ultron cover!

I agree with the earlier comments, great commission, great composition and great take on the original Starman. One quick question, Golden Age Star Boy or Silver Age Star Boy in your description?

From the cover and character choices to the art itself, this one turned out well.

Fantastic cover! Great selection of characters and emotion in the scene. But who died? I can't tell from this angle.

I sometimes forget not everyone is a Legion historian. In Silver-Age Legion history.Star Boy was expelled from the Legion for killing in self-defense his girlfriend Dream Girl's ex-boyfriend, Kenz Nuhor, thus breaking the Legion's non-killing rule, It would have a domino effect in Star Boy's life.

Ok, No I didn't recognize him in the drawing and didn't realized you were tying in to the actual event in the comic. I have all 13 Legion Archives and have loved the Legion since I started collecting comics in 1980. If only DC would Finish the Legion Archives up to the Baxter series and Trade Paper Back the Baxter series I would a happy Legion Fan. Until then, I rely on you for a Legion "Fix". Keep them coming!

A Legion Archives #14 would be wonderful because it should include Saturn Girl and Lighning Lad's wedding from All-New Collectors' Edition #C-55.

Great cover. As much as I like to see Joe's lady pin-ups, I do enjoy his take on mainstream covers. Smashin!

I don't know what impresses me more: These great scenarios you keep coming up with or the amazing talent you pick who produce this incredible artwork. Kudos!
