DescriptionThis was originally going to be the 200th Infinite Timelines post but extra chapters pushed it aside. The cover that inspired it is from X-Men 30 but any Legion fan will also recognize the homage within the homage. The original Bouncing Boy & Duo Damsel wedding double-splash image from Superboy 200 is the stuff of legends.It was a great image and featured everybody you could think of, it featured the Martian Manhunter in a cameo that would decades later take on a story-line all of it's own. Dave Cockrum asked for the art back after publication, he was refused. He left DC and shortly later began his amazing run on the All New X-Men featuring Nightcrawler & Storm who he had planned as introducing as Legionnaires. Such are the twists of fate. John did an AMAZING job on this. We mixed in a few folks from different incarnations of the Legion as this is an "Infinite Timelines " event. It is my first double-spread and I am blown away by the image. Russ helped us stich this together in record time. Enjoy Aidan Social/Sharing |

Thank you for the happy ending and a great DPS cover the Legion deserve. I couldn't make out all the faces, but I will go back and try again.
