DescriptionSchooldays growing up in Ireland were a very bleak affair. Corporal punishment, long hours, brutally high academic expectations etc etc. But every so often the dull grey monotony of it all was broken by a classic James Bond movie that was shown on a reel to reel projector in the School Hall. It was heavily censored and the priest/brother or nun would fast forward the movie through anything sexual or suggestive. But those opening Bond movies, with the great soundtracks and the sexy, shadowy silhouettes sparked the imagination.....( among other things ;-)I saw this cover and instantly remembered those moments of movie escapism . As Cham is head of the Legion Espionage/Spy Squad he makes for a good Bond or Gambit stand-in/ We have Snowbird in shadow as Cham uses his very own battered and tortured body as an escape ladder. This piece was done in pencils by Geraldo Borges ( way back in 2014.....I DO plan ahead ) and inked by Jonas Trindade . Russ Payne of course gave it a very cool finished cover-like vibe.They may have escaped prison but make no mistake about it, Kang is STILL coming for Cham & Snowbird..... Enjoy Aidan Social/Sharing |

I always enjoy your Re-Legion covers where I have not seen the original. Of course, most of the time you surpass those! This is very cool, I look forward to Kang's return! 2014? Really? :)

Really? :)I know, 2014.This Infinite Timelines project is a long commitment. But planning pays off. Geraldo was doing discounted pre-New York Comic Con commissions so I jumped and Miki Annmanthadoo & Michael Finn picked it up for me. It is good to have friends in this hobby.

This one shines! As I read your description I started hearing the guitar strings of the Bond theme. It was only in looking thru the other images I noticed it was Snowbirds outline. Really this one ROCKS!

That's why I had the tongue in cheek 2nd or alt cover made up.....

Love the contrast on this cover. WOW! Is there an official name for showing the outline of a character and showing another scene inset of that outline?
