DescriptionThis unusual and obscure cover was stuffed in a back issue bin and if my translations are correct depict the story of a bitter rivalry between the Gods. Regardless, I saw the possibilities it held and handed it over to Mikes who had fun with it and shows us ( And Kang !) the precarious nature of power. In a flashback tale we discover the truth, Kang the Master of Time has been played ! He defeated Dormammu but always and everywhere throughout this "When Worlds Collide " Saga there is The Time Trapper who has played heroes and villains of both universes for his own nefarious agenda.He who eliminated Dormammu, is about to be pushed aside by yet another trickster.From now on, there will be no more secrets, no more shadow agendas, it is a battle to the death and like it or not, our heroes are part of the final gambit. It's rare I see a comic that I've never even heard of, but you got me with Dhruva! Anyway, I do love Kang, but he's just not as good a manipulator as the Time Trapper. Maybe if he could effectively team up with his other identities such as Immortus, they might have a chance against the Trapper, but I feel they would just betray each other instead.
