DescriptionWe have a great piece by Chris Batista to present, whereby the First Family Of Fast Footed Fleetness ( Don & Dawn Allen aka The Tornado Twins ) along with XS & KId Flash give Lazon the Living Laser his well-deserved & long overdue lumps !In case you are wondering about last week's cliff-hanger, who did Don choose to save ? His sister Dawn or his son Bart ? Here is what happened. Knowing how fast his son was and that he could vibrate into an almost immaterial state inside the case and thus be spared from the laser death-blasts , he freed Dawn who together combined their powers on Bart's prison . The pressure from both sides caused the chamber to explode. All free, all safe & sound, all mad as hell and determined not to take it anymore..... I loved Chris' work on the Legion book, so it was a real treat to be able to include his unique styling in this story-line. As always thanks to Russ for his ongoing important finishing touches. I remember seeing the pencils to this a long time ago! Loved it then and love it now! Barry would be proud!

A lot of forward planning & pacing goes into these arcs. But even for speedsters, patience is a virtue and each commission gets their moment to shine in the spotlight.

Now that's lovely. And Chris Batista is phenomenal (not to mention enormously under-rated).

The cover definitely has the one-two punch. And the three-four as well !!

Sockamagee! I thought the Amazing Spider-Man #71 Quicksilver cover/story was the inspiration when I first saw it. Perhaps it is an homage of an homage.
