DescriptionI am genuinely excited to be posting today. I am starting a new Infinite Timelines series, which is always satisfyingly fun but this one is WAY longer than anything we attempted. It has grown and changed over the years. It was planned as a 24 "issue event " , as of today however, it is now 108 images ( not including Volumes 1-4 of the Hardcover Omnibus edition ) When Trevor and Russ and I work on this between ourselves, we still call it Souls 71 or 47 etc etc , because when we started this project, it was intended to be Infinite Timelines : Souls of Shangalla , a story where dead Legionnaires would team up with their living teammates and counterparts to rescue Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl's son from the curse and clutches of Darkseid.But it just keep growing and took on a life of it's own. It now also focuses on Graymn their son , but explores the nature of family. We asked and answered questions about the role of his villainous Uncle Lightning Lord. We examine the relationship between Graymn and Validius. What lengths are we willing to go for loved ones. We focus on the founders who are the heart and soul of the Legion.And so "Souls" evolved into Infinite Timelines : And A Child Shall lead Them. When we started this project, we were all in a different place. April 26th 2014 was the date I got my first prelim for this masterpiece. I knew this was going to be a special series. Even at the rate of 3 a week, this is going to take time but I hope you stick along for the ride. From the bottom of my heart I cannot thank Russ and Trevor enough. Trevor poured his heart and soul into these images and that's one of the MAIN reasons, that we added covers and why I just did not want this to end. From the initial 24 commissions, to a bold 48, then 75 and now over a 100 issues, Trevor has gone from strength to strength. He is incredibly talented but truthfully he is a FUNNY guy who makes him a joy to work with.I hope he comments on pieces occasionally because he gives us all a masterclass in epic story-telling. He draws inspiration from all over the place. He has such respect for the great Silver Age artists and it shows. Russ does magic throughout, he uses space so creatively. A nice bonus is watching how over the series how Russ and Trevor got in sync which each others creativity,they are now friends and working on other projects beyond this. We still have to bring this one in for it's final landing but at Chapter 97, we are way ahead of the game.This obviously is the longest sequential commission series I ( and to the best of my knowledge ) has ever tried. Gulp !!!!

I guarantee that some of what is coming up over these next months will blow your mind. It is rare and hard to get just one artist to commit to a "story" but when they do, they see and sense the overall bigger picture & magic flows between each chapter. And to commit to something over a 6 year period, is unheard of these days. I appreciate your comments and I have to say that I miss your Shakespeare themed commissions
