Description

Although Cuvelier worked with models, during his 'Mons' period and in the last years of his life, he stated that he usually 'reworked' his visual impressions in his memory to find the right 'composition' , which held no longer direct ties to reality. This pencil and ink drawing serves as an example of his idea of a 'composition'.
