Description

This recreation of my cover to Iron Man #153 (originally published in December 1981) was extremely problematic because of the color hold creature. I finally solved the problem by drawing it on a separate page, scanning it and actually printing the creature directly onto the paper in green ink before drawing the remaining page. This drawing was commissioned by my friend, Shaun Clancy and masterfully colored by former Shellhead colorist Bob Sharen.
