DescriptionThis is a super interesting bit for all of us Deadpool fans.JJ Kirby was slated to draw issue 22 of the first ongoing series written by Joe Kelly. For reasons unclear (most likely having to do with deadlines), he didn’t and only drew a few of the pages. Oh, what could have been (as he was obviously a much stronger artist than the one who actually drew the issue. No offense meant). This is also the first time the Cable/Deadpool bromance appears on page that would developp into their own series!First appearance of a comic concept guys! Birth-first appearance issue! This one mostly pure pencil and offer some sharp pencil action as well as some inks. An obscure and fun bit of Deadpool history! (I had two of these pages and sold the first one nearly instantly during the last CAF live) Social/Sharing |
