Description

Mythos is a fully-painted recounting of the origins of Johnny Blaze, the Ghost Rider. It is so hard to get flames right but Paolo pulls it off with this amazing Ghost Rider painting on masonite. I have always really liked Ghost Rider as a man who sold his soul for the right reasons only to be deceived in the end.

I think Rivera's work as a painter is stellar and I have always liked this piece. It looks like the Bowen GR statue.

That backgorund color is something you don't see often! It perfectly frames the trail of flames and the fiery central image of Ghost Rider! It really shows the speed and acceleration!

So cool seeing this on CAF! I loved this one shot, and I lot of that had to do with Rivera's paints, particularly of the aflamed Spirit of Vengeance! I was lucky to nab a splash from it myself. HUGE congrats on the cover!
