Description

Batman piece created by Alex Maleev for the comic art exhibition (and catalog) "Comic Book Icons", one of the attraction of FIQ - International Comic Book Festival in Belo Horizonte, Brazil (www.fiqbh.com.br), from Nov 13-17, 2013.
Funny thing is Alex published this art on his Facebook page and it was seen by the DC folks. They loved it so much that they bought the rights to use it as a pinup on Batman 19. So this is one of those rare cases in which a commission piece turn into a published art piece in a big publisher house :)
No surprise here. Alex did a wonderful, breathtaking job here.
