DescriptionNever thought I would own a nice Jim Lee Hush related piece of art. The way prices were going, It was more and more feeling like a bridge too far. Along came this lovely piece, nice tight finished pencils for the hush unwrapped cover and straight from Jim Lee's very own collection. It is Very rare to have finished pencils from Jim. It will be treasured. I have already made contact with a legendary inker to maybe ink a copy one day so watch this space. Batman FTW. Social/Sharing |

Jim's work has been the best in the business over the past two decades. I highly recommend keeping the original pencils as is.

This is just tremendous! What a major score! One of his finest published pencil pieces out there by Jim, for sure! Way to go, buddy! Huge score!

While I have the utmost respect for an inker's work, there's just something about seeing an artist's pure, raw, pencils laid bare with nothing to hide behind. This is as good as it gets from Jim. Congratulations!

Beautiful. I love to look at artist's pencils to see how they approach their subject. This is a good one.

Such an amazing piece, George! I am so curious about the process. Was this a preliminary layout with really tight pencils? Did he re-draw it on tonal paper for the actual published piece?

Cheers mate, Jim scanned it and printed it out and then did the washes and whiteout on the scan. That info was direct from Jim.
