Description

When I first met Ian Kennedy earlier this year (2015) at the Birmingham Comics Festival he proved to be a really charming man, modest and happy to talk about his work and his career enthusiastically, but adamant that he did not have the time to take on commissions. Fast forward several months and, with some gentle persuasion from Wiggz at Rebellion, who took on organising things for Ian, he agreed to paint this for me; he also, very kindly, sent me scans of the work in progress at various stages of completion. I am absolutely thrilled at the final result; Ian is another of the 'old guard' who has still got it where it counts!

Cool piece! It's got a real late 70s early 80s feel to it, could be a cover to one of the old hardback annuals.
