DescriptionBelieved to be the very first story commissioned for 2000AD, and originally called "A Man Called PROBE", this story was pulled from publication due to concerns regarding violence and real world political references. Some story pages were salvaged and used in the dummy AD2000 comic, the overtly violent pages never saw print and this title page was bodged into a new title page that appeared in Prog 4's story "To Kill a President".I'm incredibly happy to be the custodian of this significant part of comic art history -arguably the first ever page produced for 2000AD!
