Tom Raney has been on some pretty high impact books (such as Stormwatch when it was written by Warren Elliss and was the superhot book at the time) but somehow has managed to stay somewhat under the radar despite his considerable skills. This is a very nice piece by him, and I'm wondering if there's a bit of a subliminal self-portrait in that prominent goblin head as there's not too many goblins in NYC or Gotham with goatees. Another first for Bat Alley!

Great piece! The gargoyle looks a little bit unhappy, though. But I would too, if Batman were about to hop on my head! :)
