DescriptionLouie del Carmen works in animation doing character design, storyboards, and directing. His most recent project is Dreamworks' Dragons: Defenders of Berk. He is self-publishing the science fiction comic Steel Noodles and the art book Muse volume 1. As I prepared for Emerald City Comicon, I checked Louie's twitter account and saw he was drawing and painting sketchcards. So I sent an email about this commission and Louie finished it up and sent me an email before flying to Seattle. As I arrived to pick it up, Louie showed it to me and said he didn't want to let it go. The very words an art fan loves to hear.Social/Sharing |
