�� Alina Chau is an artist working in animation, illustration, and comics. She won an Emmy Award for her work on the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the Lucasfilm Animation project headed by Dave Filoni. Alina contributed to video games, too, before transitioning to freelance illustration. I've met her at some conventions and bought her books Treehouse Heroes and the Forgotten Beast, Pickle - The Little Bird Who Doesn't Tweet!, and Acqurello III, and Disney Princess: The World is Yours. At the Alameda County Library where I work, I borrowed and enjoyed her artwork in the books Double Happiness, Lunar New Year, and The Nian Monster. Prior to APE this year, I contacted Alina and arranged this commission. Alina brought it to the con and I'm so happy to have gotten this one.
