DescriptionBill Presing is a Pixar story artist and the creator, with Matt Peters, of Rex Steele, Nazi Smasher. Bill gained fame for his pretty girls with his books Belle du Jour in 2007 and Bookplate Betties in 2008. French publisher Akileos issued Rex Steele in a handsome color hardcover edition with a DVD of the Alex Woo animated adaptation and Fluide Glamour put out Bill Presing / Artbook. Olivier Vatine's Comix Buro issued Sketchbook Presing in 2012.Bill and his friend Josh Cooley each drew 27 images for the International Cuties card set so he seemed a natural for this theme. He was set up at APE and I made my request and showed him some examples. Bill expressed his pleasure at the idea and finished the piece overnight. This time, Bill used copic markers. Social/Sharing |
