I was introduced to TLE's art through Essential Sequential's crew and came to really enjoy his work posted here on CAF. I was stoked to see his commission list open up a couple months ago and immediately got my name on there.

And... WOW. Where do I begin?

Tommy is such a versatile artist and I love how he used mixed media here. There's a great combination of loose sketchiness and tight line work that makes for a dynamic piece. The colors here really make everything pop too.

Oh yeah... He threw in the MILLENNIUM FALCON! The initial request was just for Han and Chewie, so I was floored when I saw that Tommy added this to the piece. It makes the whole thing look more like a movie poster or cover.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan and Tommy completely blew away my expectations for this piece. I couldn't recommend him and Jason Schachter at ES more for commission work.

Man this one turned out so well. It is cover quality! And yeah the falcon definetly adds that little extra touch. I remember him posting WIP pics and thought next time his list opens I am getting a commission. He just finished it and it looks awesome. Thanks for the nice scan of this it is a beauty!

love this piece and tle's work in general; check out his older work on marvel's 1985; he shared a studio with the late john paul leon, which reflects tommy's work to a degree
