I was looking for the perfect Prime page to own an example of a book I thought was pretty cool when I was younger and I think I have finally found the keeper. It ticks all the boxes for me amazing piece of art, original artist pencils and inks, signed by artist, and tells the core story of Prime all on one page.

Thanks! I was super stoked to get it. The seller sent it matted so it went straight into a frame.

The Breyfogle intensity is all over this! He goes big on everything here with the bold exaggerations you'd expect from the 90's.

Indeed. I love how you get the contrast of the skinny kid inside in the small panels.

Truly Breyfogle at his prime !! Always enjoy seeing his art (such a great guy who I sorely miss) and I have a soft spot for the Ultraverse too.

Thanks for the comment. I has not realized he had passed (RIP). You prompted me to research further and I also learned he illustrated Whisper from First Comics. Another title that is near and dear to my heart from my young collecting days.
