Description

I've learned never to say never in this hobby, but I'll probably won't have a chance to own the original iconic cover to Captain America Annual #8 by Mike Zeck.

So when the chance to buy a recreation came along (plus the fact Zeck doesn't do recreations anymore) I knew I had to go after it.

I also like how Zeck documents the history of his pieces. I now know that this is his 7th cover recreation and the 2nd version of this one.

This is/was Mike's 7th full size cover recreation and the second version of this cover. I own the 6th and last version (and to the best of my knowledge, Mike's last ever cover quality commission) of this cover which Mike completed 5 years ago just this month. You can see it in my gallery, of course. :-]
