DescriptionCyclops faces down his slain teammates while under the spell of D'Spayre.Does it still count as a team page if most of them are dead?Anderson and Rubenstein had some big shoes to fill, as this was the first issue after Byrne & Austin's legendary run. I think they did pretty well! Social/Sharing |

Wow - that's a great page! I fondly remember those few Brent Anderson X-Men issues and wonder why they didn't have him do more.

Classic stuff, Dan, with something to see in every panel. Love that upward lighted Cyke shot at the bottom left - super effective. Congrats!

So great with the style that could have defined the era of the X-Men during the era of Anderson's seminal God Loves Man Kills! This is a full team page and it has Cyclops! And who wouldn't want a classic Cyclops?

Stunnning X-Men page by Brent Anderson and Joe Rubinstein! That opening scene with the X-Men becoming Zombified version of themselves is just stunnning! Then, that middle scene with the team attacking Cyclops is awesome! I also love that bottom left panel with the tight Closeup of Cyclops looking startled. Really, everything about this page is just marvelous. What a great opening salvo by the team following John Bryne and Terry Austin! Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
