Wow! First appearance of Adrian Chase as Vigilante on this historic page from New Teen Titans #2. Beautifully pencilled by George Perez and artfully inked by the Pablo Marcos. Stunning page to own!

New Teen Titans was one of the very few titles where the annuals really mattered and tied into the long form storytelling of the series. As such, Wolfman and Perez treated them like season finales resolving plotlines and making significant introductions. Vigilante was the biggest outcome of this second annual and they gave him one kick ass into like he's the Punisher of DC.

Titans annuals were like Summer blockbusters. Fittingly, this one was released the same weekend as "Return of the Jedi" (debate amongst yourselves, as to which better).

Wow, this is killer (pun!), man! Historic stuff. And I always loved Vigilante's costume, essentially a silhouette being broken up by gear and adornments. Congrats!
