I had a HUGELY SUCCESSFUL Convention this year, at EMERALD CITY COMIC CON 2015! I walked away with some of the finest commission examples from some of the best talents in the comic industry today! I went home a very happy man! This has been probably one of my very best years I've ever had, in the 8 years I've been attending ECCC!

This was my 3rd fastpass of the ECCC 2015 show! I requested this on Saturday of the convention! (Saturday I got 2 fastpasses, Dancing MJ and Clark Kent) It was supposed to be the last fastpass spot of Saturday, but since Tim was rushed in time (he saves the first hour and last hour of the show for autographs), he couldn't get to mine on time, and instead, made mine the first sketch of the Sunday show!

When I went to visit my girlfriend in Pennsylvania, 2 weeks before Emerald City Comic Con, I remember how much fun I had there, since my girlfriend lives in a very small town in the country farm side of Pennsylvania, and how much her neighborhood reminded me of the scenes from Superman: For All Seasons! I also recalled I recall seeing my friend, Nick Connor's rendition of a young Clark Kent in his cape and his dog in Smallville, and was inspired to ask for a different rendition of it, but not of a young Clark Kent. Instead, I wanted a highschool/college aged Clark Kent with his dog in the countryside.

With Tim's magic, this is what he came up with!!! Beautiful!!! Everytime I look at this piece, it reminds of Smallville and also of my girlfriends hometown and backyard! I also love to sometimes go to the park and sit on a tree while reading a book in the summers! So this was a grand slam piece that totally spoke to me!
