DescriptionJim Mahfood was the artist in the first Clerks comic from Oni Press way back in February 1998, so this must have been a convention sketch I got a few months later at Oakland Wondercon, or maybe the following year in at the Alternative Press Expo. It's also signed by Kevin Smith in 1999 Wondercon. It's somewhere there, recollections of that time period seems a little foggy for some reason.I feel in high mood every time I look Askew I want a Mahfood in a crowd just get signed from you And in the ink of a crinklin' line I'm stinkin', our reefers entwined That's Sick from the vaping device Tell me bud the first time gallery Chronic what you think and I'm high From smokin' your tokes all damn night The nug ganja cripple you light Butter cheese munchies just for Mewes I'm feelin' a Cheech and Chong vibe with you on an Aquabong high Your friends are around, Bob be quiet I'm trying to stifle my thighs 'Cause I feel Jim Mahfood every time I look at View But look Askew Whoa-ah-ah-ah-ah Social/Sharing |

Well "kiss my grits, nooch."
"Snoogans."
Fun Mahfood throwback piece, MW, and you got them perfect expressions for both :) Congrats!

You probably asked for a commission of the C.L.I.T commander not knowing you would get this.

That is a great convention sketch! Funny JM didn't finish filling in Jay's jacket, but you can chase him down at a con since he still makes regular appearances. Fabulous lyrics, as per your usual. If it weren't for CAF, I wouldn't be up to date on recent pop songs

I think he left it that way to make the middle finger stand out more.

To young me, Silent Bob was a god, Kevin Smith merely mortal.

Jim Mahfood was the artist in the first Clerks comic from Oni Press? Wow, that's an interesting bit of trivia. A fun sketch and thankfully the marker ink doesn't appear to have faded!

He's the type of street style artist that tagged busses and walls with markers, so he knows the good stuff.

Fantastic! I love this sketch of Jay and Silent Bob! Jim Mahfood is so awesome! His style is so utterly unique and so individual that it really stands out. I'm reminded a little of Bill Sienkiewicz back when he was doing New Mutants. I'd love to see Mahfood tackle a classic Marvel title. Mahfood on Miles Morales Spiderman? Daredevil? You gotta admit it'd be cool. Great pick-up, congrats!

Outstanding! It was a great choice at the time, and even that much better to get to take a look at it now. Glad you posted this.
