DescriptionA Christmas 2024 gift from Eric DeLos Santos! This is an all pencil work by Joe Sinnott of the Ever Lovin' Thing from 1977! That year, he was on Fantastic Four in the 180s inking Jack Kirby, Ron Wilson, Sal Buscema, and George Perez. Even with all these artists, the timeless Marvel look of the Thing remained, and passed down through decades with the common thread of Sinnott!Hey mister, where you headed? Are you here at Yancy? Eric's gift with Benji power. Say "Ho Ho" Do you bake for Christmas presents? I need a cake as well Oh well and celebrate the thrill One, two, one, two, three, Four! Old Benji's Christmas tale Tonight, I feel the smoke Fantastic Aunt Petunia, pencils post, oh There's not doubt of Thing's babies of blue And I've been sun shaded My thing is swelling up, I say "One, two, one, two, three, Four!" Penciled fine You know the Sinnott line I'm ever lovin', and it's Clobberin' time! Social/Sharing |

A practically perfect sketch! Imagine being the lucky commissioner picking this up nearly 50 years ago. Congrats, you've received a priority DLS shipment!

A classic Thing head shot from the Bronze Age with that classic, Sinnott rendering, what's not to love about that?

It's an old, wrinkled Thing, but it sure gets the job done!

Oh man, I love me some classic Joe Sinnott, and it's definitely from his FF heyday! Great add!

He's held up over the years. Rock don't wrinkle -- in fact, the weathered look makes him more desirable, I'm told.

This week started off a bit rocky...and nothing changed with this piece being posted by Marcus. This is a classic illustration of aunt Petunia's favorite nephew and it totally made my morning!

Very nice! We all know that Sinnott was an amazing inker, but I'm always really impressed by his pencil art too!
