I love the action (and scratchy pen work) in this Sunday page. The panel compositions are wonderful, as is the narrative. Boy, Pookie does get into all kinds of trouble. July 7, 1946.

I've had days like that. Magnificent! Love the whale and head-butting! The inking in panel 4 is a lot of fun.
