MARIE SEVERIN original art, STAR WAR #43...Yoda Splash / Pin-up page...(Signed by Marie Severin multiple times)...

Featuring an Original piece of art...Done in graphite/pencil/ink (mixed media)....Featuring a published piece from the Marvel comics series : STAR WARS #43 with a Yoda splash/pin-up page...(Signed by Marie Severin on the piece within the tree roots...then, again on the bottom of the page next to the 'original art' note that she wrote, and again personalizing the piece to Mary Fleener - "Hey - You Fleeener...Dis is for Yewwww! Marie")....Marie Severin (did all the artwork)...The same Mary Fleener that is a comic artist, renown for her independent comic work... The particular comic issue that the original art is from, is part of the 'Empire Strikes Back' storyline, and with the 2nd appearance of Boba Fett in the comic/storyline. This full page splash of Yoda, the Jedi Master is found on page #30 of the Marvel comic in a section called the 'Bonus Pin-up Section' - where Marvel reached out to different artists to add their special interpretations of scenes inspired by The Empire Strikes Back, with Marie doing the 'Portrait of a Jedi Master -- Yoda in his swampland home on Dagobah"... With more Star Wars movie in the works, this piece won't last long...This sell is for the original art work only....No comic...

This item is in great condition (Like-new), with very light handling wear...Has been lightly trimmed on the top edge, and the bottom corners were clipped from Marvel...

Created when? : 1980, with a published date of 1981...on Medium to heavy stock ...

Size : (approx) 10.5" x 16.5"...
