Description

Jim Lee has announced that he is going to do 60 "sketches" for sale with the proceeds to help brick and mortar comic book shops during the COVID-19 crisis. After it started, he added that each and every one of his sketches will end up as a published cover for DC!!

So, I've categorized this as an unpublished commission for now, but that's temporary!

He's also attracting other artists to join in, all being sold by Jim's eBay account.

This is Jim's take on Deadman, and a nod to the amazing cover to Strange Adventures #207 (in the other images). I think he outdid himself here.

Definitely a highlight of this project. Deadman as an actual dessicated corpse is almost never done.

Outstanding! Great illustration all around, from the inked Deadman to the pencilled faces in the background. What I really like about this is how much is speaks to the ESSENCE of the character. Great piece. Congrats!
