What can I say, Walt Simonson is my favorite artist. His run on Thor is my favorite comic run ever. I am so happy to own such a stellar piece from him.

Now if I can get an Odin, Enchantress, and a Frog-of-Thunder I will be all set! :)

*Update* Gerry Turnbull was kind enough to add colors (see additional image below) IMO With the colors added, this would blend right in as a cover to Simonson's run!

I liked the time when Thor was smiling. Now they depict him as a grim vinking all the time. Nice one.

This Simonsin Thor is second to None! It has all the elements you want in a Thunder God: mirth, power, a sense of confidence and ease. Easily, The Best Portrayal since the Original Series!
