Description

This cover is a composite of two original drawings. The main image shows the charismatic Unicorn messiah. The second drawing (see the first additional image) shows Inspector LeBrock, his girlfriend Billie and his partner in this album, the doughface Pinkerton agent Chance Lucas. Poor Billie was eliminated during the editing process and does not appear on the published cover. LeBrock also got his head substituted with a more menacing (but in my opinion less charming)look, taken from an inside panel. Compare the planned cover (the second additional image) with the final published version.
