DescriptionAllow me to re-introduce...!This is a page from Kraven's Last Hunt. I'm new to collecting original comic art so I had no idea that these were even available until recently. The last I heard they were all locked up in a dungeon somewhere with no chance of escape. My jaw hit the floor when I saw all the pages that I missed out on because I was not in the know. Especially this one!(BTW, If the other 2 books and/or covers ever get released, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!) So, I wanted a page with Kraven and there were not that many left. I found the best one available (which I fell in love with) and made a deal with Mike Burkey. Mike is a really nice guy and I thank him again for giving me the opportunity to own a piece of history! Fast forward a few months later and a few conversations with Ken Rodgers...another opportunity arose. Unfortunatley it was in the midst of me selling my house, one in which I owed money at closing, yeah that kind:( BUT, fate has a way... So even though I will be eating Top Ramen for the next year, I would like to send a huge thank you to Ken! He stuck with me through many a email until we found a way to make the deal work. Ken is one of the good guys out there and I can't say enough good things. Thanks Ken! Also, I was able to talk to Bob McLeod at HeroesCon 2013 just this weekend and he's a super nice guy as well. This was the first time I'd met him and though I tried to avoid the stereotypical awkward, nervous, geek-out when we were talking, I'm sure I looked like a total goof. But he gave me some interesting insight on what it was like to work on KLH. I won't go into detail, but my piece feels even more special now! Possibly a movie??? I kid, I kid. But hopefully in my lifetime:) GRAIL Social/Sharing |

I love the progression from shit eating grin to grim faced on this. A cooler page than them battling it out in my opinion. Congrats, and thanks for sharing!

It had everything I wanted, Kraven in Spidey uniform AND Spidey in the same panel! And Zeck did a great job with the face transition.

Thanks Alfredo,
It was one of my favorites, too. I love that you have the page before this one. I took a look at it tonight after catching you online at Comic Art Live:) One of us has the page number wrong. Probably me. I'll check on this and fix it.
