DescriptionIt's finally here folks!!! This one of a kind masterpiece executed by the master Gennadiy Koufay is in my opinion his finest work & my new personal gallery favorite!!! The detailing & realism is absolutely stunning!!! WOW!!!Here we have an exotic Storm (Ororo Munroe), "The African Queen" from "Darkest Africa" wielding her mutant gifts to manipulate the weather and summon "The Perfect Storm" on the grassy plains of Kenya. "The Tempest" in this superb creation boast subtle Shakespearean overtones, as we witness a heart-wrenching tragedy unfolding for a herd of zebras grazing on the Serengeti terrain. Sadly, two of these majestic ungulates are swept up by surprise in a powerful "Twister" while the rest scamper for dear life!!! One of the stallions even appear to have been struck by the Wind-Rider's lightning!!! "Most Shocking"!!! In the background we see the ornate precision of "The Snows of Kilimanjaro" as envisioned by Mr. Koufay's vivid imagination and keen eye. Ernest Hemingway would be very pleased with this rendering of one of Africa's most admirable natural wonders. The kaleidoscope of colors just explode right off the canvas!!! This epic "Storm of the Century" artwork exemplifies how Mr. Koufay captures the true elemental fury of Ororo, validating her place as one of the most powerful members of the mutant group X-Men!!! This enchanting artistic treasure measures a massive 25" h x 18.5" w on stretched fine canvas, with several coats of varnish. The medium is a combo of acrylic, watercolor & white gouache. Now that I have run out of movie cliche's to describe this oeuvre of perfection, I would like to thank Gennadiy for perhaps his greatest all-around achievement to date!!! Not only is Mr. Koufay a maestro at doing sexy pin-up artwork, but here he exhibits to us how incredibly versatile he is as one of the world's premiere artistic talents!!! Social/Sharing |

Yeah, it took awhile to complete but it was well worth the wait my friend. I was told by his rep that he used a magnifying glass to do the intricate detailing on this baby! A true passionate genius Mr. Koufay is!

The most accurate depiction of Storm (Ororo) I've ever seen. Her powers are captured perfectly.. I could run off a list of adjectives but it would take me all night! Congratulations on a stunning addition. :)

As you can see with this one I made an excellent choice in Mr. Koufay!
