DescriptionBeing a huge Daredevil fan, I felt a tribute to the 50th Anniversary should deliver nothing less than something so powerful it would need no interpretation; an idea that would speak with no words. I asked Chucky to incorporate four of the most influential costumes, each representing a part of Matts past, and thereby a piece of his present. I thought the idea of having Matt Murdock the center of attention would bring the man behind the costume and what made him into that man more into focus. Chucky brought it home incorporating an almost ghostly effect of the costumes reaching from the darkness, flawlessly portraying that unspoken connection. Many thanks to Chucky for capturing my vision, and seamlessly executing it. It truly exceeded my expectations.DD costumes (left to right): Yellow, Red, Armour and black from Shadowland when DD was considered a villain. Social/Sharing |

This is such a great idea for DD's 50th Anniversary, and Chucky hit it out of the park! Love the inking, lends dark moody tone that's just perfect for this piece.

Love the concept and the execution, although it took me a second to realize which costume that was on the right, because I'm dumb like that.

Wow! This is total greatness! I actually recognized all of the costumes. Great theme for a 50th Anniversary celebration of DD! I really need to get going on my own commission from Chucky! Congrats on this one brother!

Congrats, great execution of your request! Thanks for describing the costumes, I only identified the fourth as Shadowland because I know you dig that story! Now you just need a story page of DD in each of the costumes (yellow)! ;)
