Description

"TWO RED DEVILS AND A MANTHING" - Frank Brunner

I asked Frank to do something with Daredevil and gave him a few other characters that I would like to see and he blew me away with this. Man-Thing is under the spell of Mephisto who is sitting on his throne made out of a knarled tree. You'll also see the Demon Vulture next to Mephisto and an Alligator ready to take a bite out of DD. It's not just the characters he does great but the backgrounds alone are excellent and very enjoyable to me. If you get a chance check out the Pencil, Ink and Ink wash in my Gallery Room to compare to the colored version you see here.

Thanks to Brian Jones who made an excellent recommendation and put me in touch with Jerry Livengood to use Liezl. When I saw the excellent job she did on his Batman Vampirella piece I knew I had to have her do this. Jerry was very helpful and I certainly would recommend them. Great Coloring Job by Liezl; she really accentuated all the different components in this piece. The Night Sky and Moon look great, and DD looks dynamic. An Easy Pin-Up/Cover Worthy piece.

Thank you for the comment Michael. Daredevil always has the odds against him. if they let me write it, I'm sure ill find a way for him to win or at least live to fight another day lol. As for the actual art, Brunner blew me away with this beauty.
