Description

For Byrne fans, "The Art of John Byrne", published by S.Q. Production Inc. in 1980, is a treasure trove of "period" Bryne drawings of Marvel and DC characters. Many of the drawings were reproduced from his sketchbooks. Some drawings were created for the book. This piece was published on page 15 and depicts everyone's favorite canuklehead doing what he does best.

Hey Eric! Yeah, "The Art of John Byrne" was a great book. Too bad a second volume was never published. There were enough sketches in John's sketch books for it!

I remember being blown away by this piece when flipping through the "Art of John Byrne"; it's about as "definitive" of a John Byrne Wolverine as you can get! Congratulations!
