Phil is a genius. I mean seriously, who can draw this well? Phil has been putting out some stelllar pieces recently, but this one is da bomb!!! Brilliant Batman...brilliant gargoyle. This guy is an absolute superstar.

Philip masterfully combines a variety of media to evoke emotion and befuddle the eye. The bold inking and clean linework in Batmans cape juxtaposed with the smoke-like dry brush effect in the sky makes it appear as if Batman just materialized from some dark netherworld to impose his will upon Gotham. Brilliant in every way, Ari.
