That's one super Purves splash. Rare art from a wonderfully unique artist. Although I loved him inking himself it's hard to go wrong with the great Marie Severin. Bravo!!

This is such a great splash. I didn't appreciate Purves nearly enough at the time but I can't get enough of his art now.
