Original art for a re-interpretation of the July 1952 cover to Planet Stories by Gary Martin. Approximate image size 10.5" x 15" on a larger 11" x 17" art board...graphite and ink on art board. Martin creates an exquisite line art rendering of the timeless Allen Anderson Planet Stories painted cover. This piece was published in Martin's "Brush With Destiny" art book...page 82. A dizzying display of Martin's inking prowess on a classic 1950's Sci-Fi cover!
