Description

This is the front and back cover art for the long awaited complete KING CITY series in one giant trade paperback. The series was written and illustrated by mastermind Brandon Graham and was full of unique style and off-beat banter.

The TPB was published by Image Comics after long negotiations with TokyoPop on February 22, 2012 in black and white. There was also a Spanish edition published by Debolsillo on October 2012.

Brandon Graham received an Eisner nomination in 2007 for this book and his first Eisner win for this book with the Best Graphic Album � Reprint Eisner Award in 2013.

That's really amazing, must have cost you at least 400 bucks...that maybe the definitive work of brandons...

0_0 Epic piece. This was my gateway drug into Graham's work, as it was for probably man of his fans. Not only is it special in that regard but it's such a great example of his cityscapes and composition. Oh and Earthling, doing cat things.

Great cover! I first encountered this book at NYCC in 2012 and bought it at the Image booth because I was enjoying the Prophet relaunch. My only regret was buying it in the morning and having to lug the thing around all day. :) Probably my favorite book Graham has done still.
